	Soil
	Free-draining, fertile soil enriched with compost.
	
	Position
    Full sun.
	Frost tolerant
    Cold tolerance varies widely with species.
		
	Feeding
    In early spring, mulch over root zone with 1 to 2 inches of good compost. Mulch with grass clippings or straw.
    
	Spacing
	Single Plants: 90cm (2' 11") each way (minimum)
	Rows: 90cm (2' 11") with 90cm (2' 11") row gap (minimum)
	
	Sow and Plant
	Plant in mid autumn or early winter when it's not too cold for a little root growth to help them establish.

	Harvesting
